New Orleans Rice Mill to Lofts

Sean Cummings, owner of the International House Hotel and New Orleans entrepreneur has asked me to photograph his latest project. Sean is restoring an abandoned Rice Mill into Loft apartments. The documentary architectural photography project hopes to showcase the progress of the transformation over the year and a half timeline. Mr. Cummings is trying to preserve as much of the mill as possible including graffiti walls, wood beams, and other structural elements. The Rice Mill is located just South of the heart of New Orleans alongside the Mississippi River. The imagery will be used to help preserve the story behind this historic building and will be featured on their company website for promotional purposes as well.
